Uri Adelman

Uri Adelman (born 1958, Ramat Gan - 2004) - was a prominent Israeli writer, musician, and academic known primarily for his bestselling suspense novels.  He was a multi-talented figure who bridged the worlds of literature, music, and technology. He studied and later taught musicology at Tel Aviv University. He was also a composer and musician. He served as the editor of suspense fiction at Keter Publishers. He is best known for his four thriller novels, which were major bestsellers in Israel. He was also a computer expert who wrote a weekly column for a local newspaper and published four books on the subject. Unfortunately, his four thriller novels - Concerto for Spy and Orchestra (1993); Lost and Found (1998); Tropic of Venus (2000); and Dead Hours (2004) have not so far been translated into English.
