Jonathan Rabb

Jonathan Rabb [born 1964 in Boston, MA] - an American author, essayist, and actor, currently professor of writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). He has written six novels, including his acclaimed “Berlin Trilogy,” which follows Detective Nikolai Hoffner through pre-war Germany in a 3-book series:

Rosa: Centers on the investigation into the murder of Rosa Luxemburg, the real-life Jewish socialist revolutionary

The Second Son: The protagonist, Detective Inspector Nikolai Hoffner, is half-Jewish, which leads to him being dismissed from the police force by the Nazi regime in 1936.
