Edgardo Cozarinsky

Edgardo Cozarinsky (1939–2024, born Buenos Aires, Argentina) - was a prolific Argentine filmmaker, who lived for nearly 30 years in Paris. In The Moldavian Pimp, set in the 1920s, he investigates the infamous “white slave trade” in Buenos Aires run by the Zwi Migdal, a criminal organization of Jewish pimps who trafficked Jewish women from Europe. In The Bride from Odessa  (2001), he traces the Jewish diaspora from the Old World to Argentina.
