David Del Bourgo

David Del Bourgo (est. birth 1942, Los Angeles) - an American author and poet primarily known for his 1968-era noir mystery novel, Prague Spring: A Simon Wolfe Mystery. Despite the title, the book is a noir detective story set in San Francisco and Berkeley in 1968. It follows Inspector Simon Wolfe, a Holocaust survivor and former Mossad agent, as he investigates the murder of a congressman’s son while being blackmailed over his past. Tracking Down Gruppenführer Kunitz, the follow-up, continues Wolfe’s journey as he pursues a high-ranking Nazi official. Wolfe is a former prisoner of Theresienstadt and Auschwitz.
