Avichai Nizri

Avichai Nizri (born 1982, in Bat-Galim near Haifa) – author, screenwriter and graphic designer, one of the writers for the leading Israeli satirical program, Eretz Nehederet (akin to “Saturday Night Live”). Grew up in a tough neighbourhood and writes coming-of-age novels reflecting the conflicts that entails. Two suspense novels of his have been published, in 2023 and 2024, but not yet translated into English.
